Detailed Description:

A computer generated image of a man visible from the shoulders down is on an elliptical machine. The figure is using the hand rails which are vertically adjustable, labeled “Linear Pot”. Where the hand rails meet the platform for the foot rests is a “Sliding Wheel” and “Tilting Ramp”. Each platform has two “Linear guide(s)” and a “Linear Motor” near which the “Foot plate” is attached. The foot plates rest on a “Pivoting Disk”. A “Toe strap keeps the foot from sliding forward off the foot plate and straps around the top and front of the toes. A “Shoe blocker” is fastened at the side of the toe strap. Behind the foot plate is a “Cable” that attaches to each side of the pivoting disk through a “Pulley”. A “Pivoting Motor” and “Pivoting Assembly” complete the elliptical.
